Muyil & Sian Ka’an Floating
Private Tour to Muyil Ruins | Jungle Walk | Boat Ride in Nature Reserve Sian Ka’an | Floating in Mangrove Channels | Cenote
First, we visit the archeological site of Muyil – one of the earliest and longest inhabited ancient Mayan settlements on the eastern coast of the Yucatán peninsula. What makes this place so unique, too, is that it’s connected with the Sian Ka’an nature reserve. After a walk though the jungle we reach a freshwater lagoon and hop onto a boat. We ride through mangrove channels, look out for animals, learn about the flora and fauna and as a highlight float in the crystal clear water. We close the day in a secret place in the jungle where we climb down into the Mayan underworld to snorkel in a cave cenote.
